About the role
- Develop and execute the commercial strategy for the UK market
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, strategic partnerships and market expansion
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and partners
- Define and implement the company’s long-term commercial vision and strategy with management and stakeholders
- Collaborate with technical and operational teams to ensure customer satisfaction
- Work closely with other Group Companies and Esse-ti HQ to align reporting, ERP, processes and procedures
- Monitor market trends and competitors’ activity and adjust strategies accordingly
- Be groomed for future succession into the role of CEO of the UK entity
Requirements
- Degree in Business Management or Administration, Engineering or related fields (preferred)
- Proven experience in sales or business development within the elevator/lift or similar industrial sectors
- Strong technical background, ideally in engineering, electronics, telecommunications, automation, or control systems
- Experience in business agreements, service contracts, IoT solutions and after-sales business (preferred)
- Demonstrated leadership skills and entrepreneurial mindset
- Excellent communication and business negotiating skills
- Fluency in English
- Additional European languages would be a benefit
- Willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally to HQ in Italy
