About the role
- Oversee the adoption and integration of advanced manufacturing technologies such as robotics, automation, and additive manufacturing.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve manufacturing capabilities and efficiency.
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Conduct technical feasibility studies and validate new processes.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring they meet quality, budget, and timeline requirements.
- Establish and maintain quality standards and procedures for manufacturing processes.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
- Work with vendors to source materials and equipment.
- Develop and execute strategic plans for advanced manufacturing initiatives.
- Allocate resources effectively to support manufacturing operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in advanced manufacturing engineering.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Proficiency in advanced manufacturing technologies and methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and quality standards.
- Travel (As and When required, will be approx. 20-30% max).
