About the role
- Develop and implement optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards
- Coordinate manufacturing launch for new or revised products, processes and equipment
- Lead strategic and continual improvement initiatives
- Create, test, and optimize programs that control CNC machines
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to understand project specifications
- Develop CNC programs (Siemens/Fanuc) using CAD/CAM software for Grinding/Milling/Turning etc operations
- Provide training to operation on complete Machine Operation, Maintenance, PM, Spare Management
- Collaborate with engineers and global team to troubleshoot issues and improve efficiency
- Maintain documentation of CNC programs, WI’s, setup sheets, and revisions
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational protocols
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in CNC programming or related field preferred
- Certification in CNC programming (Siemens/Fanuc) or machine tool technology is a plus
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidWorks)
- Strong understanding of machining, Assembly processes and materials
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
- Experience with 3,4, or 5-axis CNC machines is highly desirable
- 10+ Years of Overall Exp. with major experience In CNC programming
- Well verse with Large horizontal/vertical boring & lathe/Milling machines
- Experienced in Siemens/Fanuc or equivalent controls
- Awareness of ISO standard viz. QMS, EMS, EHS etc.
