About the role

  • A BDR (Business Development Representative) is responsible for generating and qualifying new business opportunities.
  • Their core focus is on outbound prospecting, early-stage sales engagement, and building a healthy pipeline for Account Executives (AEs).
  • Conduct cold calls, cold emails, and social outreach (e.g., LinkedIn).
  • Personalize messaging to engage prospects effectively.
  • Get to 10 weekly meetings.
  • Handover 10 weekly meetings to AEs.
  • Provide feedback to marketing on what messaging resonates.

Requirements

  • Prospecting & Outreach Identify potential customers through research, tools, and market data.
  • Lead Qualification Hold initial conversations to understand a prospect’s needs, challenges, and fit.
  • Create a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities for the sales team.
  • Collaboration with Sales & Marketing Schedule meetings or demos for Account Executives.
  • Follow-Up & Nurturing Maintain communication with prospects who aren’t immediately ready to buy.
  • Maintain accurate activity logs and report on KPIs: calls made, emails sent, meetings booked, opportunities created.
  • Stay informed about the product, competitors, and industry trends to improve outreach.
