About the role
- Acquire vehicles: Participate in auctions and manage direct purchases to build a high-quality, margin-positive inventory.
- Evaluate and assess: Perform thorough visual, and documentation checks against our quality standards.
- Technical review: Read and interpret diagnostic and mechanical reports to inform buy or no-buy decisions.
- Valuation and pricing: Set accurate purchase prices and stock valuations using condition, history, and market data.
- Market scouting: Monitor B2B platforms daily to identify and recommend high-value opportunities.
- Market expertise: Build deep knowledge of the EU used-car market, including variants, trims, options, and resale dynamics.
- Customer relationships: Engage dealers and buyers, understand needs, and support selections and after-sale automotive questions.
- Supplier partnerships: Develop relationships with auctions, wholesalers, and other providers to secure supply and favourable terms.
- Compliance: Monitor and enforce policy requirements across our customer base.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in automotive B2B deals.
- Analytical mindset: Comfortable interpreting data, comparing vehicles, and spotting trends.
- Detail-Oriented: Precision and thoroughness are second nature to you.
- Technical Knowledge: You understand mechanical reports and know what to look for under the hood.
- Quick on Your Feet: You act fast when opportunity knocks.
- Curiosity and market awareness: Constantly learning, tracking prices, and staying ahead of changes in the B2B space.
- Relationship skills: Clear communicator who builds trust with customers and suppliers.
- Tools readiness: Competent with spreadsheets, pricing tools, and online auction platforms.
