About the role
- Develop and execute internal communication strategies, including newsletters, intranet updates, and site-level communications.
- Manage corporate social media channels, content calendars, and engagement strategies.
- Lead community engagement initiatives, including local partnerships and sponsorships.
- Oversee crisis communication planning and execution, including M&A-related communications.
- Partner with executives to craft speeches, presentations, and thought leadership content.
- Manage PR agency relationships, press release development, and media outreach.
- Identify and secure speaking opportunities for company leaders.
- Track communication metrics and continuously refine strategies for impact.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.
- 7+ years of communications or PR experience in a B2B setting, preferably in power distribution, electrical equipment, or industrial solutions.
- Successful experience managing PR agencies or external creative resources required.
- Proficiency in Salesforce and HubSpot preferred.
- Proven track record in media relations and executive communications.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and messaging skills required.
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, maintain composure under pressure, and succeed in environments of rapid change and shifting priorities.
