Application Engineer

• Review and interpret project design documents and scope of work, enhance product knowledge of MTU and power equipment.
• Initiate, coordinate, procure and assemble technical submittal documents for channel review and approval.
• Develop, modify, or procure technical drawings for onsite coordination of interconnects or conduit layouts.
• Learn and understand advanced concepts of building electrical distribution systems and how to apply power generation equipment.
• Provide technical support to Sales / Project Management Team.
• Develop, modify, or procure one-line diagrams for project designs.
• Be the communication hub for internal/external partners to guide project to a successful turnover to the end-user from inception to close-out.
• Project schedule alignment to meet customer and project expectations.
• Salesforce lead to coordinate quality up to date opportunity data.
• Weekly coordination with sales/project management team for application support and submittal duties.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service when dealing with customers (internal & external).
