About the role
- Own all French HR administration: contracts, onboarding/offboarding, payroll, parental leave, and benefits systems (Payfit, Benefiz, Swile).
- Serve as the internal expert on French labor law; ensure compliance and manage employee relations issues directly.
- Lead and manage the Comité Social et Économique (CSE).
- Lead performance management processes beyond administration, including calibration meetings and manager enablement.
- Take ownership of cultural stewardship in partnership with the People team and leadership.
- Partner with the US People Experience Manager to maintain a consistent, engaging global employee experience.
- Collaborate with business leaders on org design and change management initiatives.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure smooth handoffs across the employee lifecycle.
- Contribute to cross-functional People initiatives and ad hoc People projects
Requirements
- 5+ years of HR experience, with at least 3 years as an HR Business Partner.
- Proven ability to take ownership of scope and independently manage HR operations in a lean environment.
- Deep expertise in French labor law and HR administration.
- Strong experience in employee relations, performance management, manager coaching, and cultural stewardship.
- Ability to partner effectively with executives and cross-functional leaders to drive organizational health.
- Fluency in French and English (written and spoken).
- Proven experience leading CSE activities (e.g., elections, consultations).
- Comfort with GDPR-compliant handling of employee data and HR systems.
