💰 $70 - $84 per hour

About the role

  • Manage contracts from intake through execution by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating vendor agreements
  • Serve as the primary legal support for procurement, business operations, and finance
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop, update, and maintain standard agreement templates
  • Identify and escalate higher-risk or non-standard issues
  • Stay current with pertinent changes in legislation and regulatory environments

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
  • Active member of a State Bar Association in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (preferably California)
  • 5+ years of in-house legal experience
  • Substantial experience negotiating commercial agreements
  • Experience scaling contracting processes preferred
  • Experience working with procurement functions preferred
