About the role

  • Grow ad revenue across multiple lines through identifying and developing new commercial opportunities for advertisers
  • Develop deep and strategic relationships with your agencies across all levels and departments including strat planning, planning and buying
  • Co-ordinate and manage pitches for new business and existing clients
  • Work closely with commercial teams to identify and establish a key advertiser strategy. Put in place a contact, insight, and opportunity plan for each advertiser across the calendar year
  • Minimum of 4 external agency meetings a week
  • Have a deep understanding of our audience and data proposition and be an example to the wider team to help them develop their audience & data sales strategy
  • Employ a consultative approach using audience and data to position immediate as a key partner earlier in the process. Moving from activation to planning

Requirements

  • At least 2 years experience in consumer publishing and/or digital advertising
  • Ability to cross sell multiple media channels and titles.
  • An understanding of the agency and publisher landscape
  • Ability to create top quality pitch decks using data and insights to underpin our proposition
  • A proven track record of driving revenues individually and as part of a teams whilst working towards a set of pre agreed performance targets.
  • Fantastic agency relationships across buying and senior members of planning teams
  • Fantastic communicator and presenter with all sized groups and levels
