About the role

  • Lead cross-functional execution of earnings, investor days, and other major investor-facing deliverables
  • Lead development of financial content, executive remarks, presentations, Q&A, and supporting materials
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align and approve materials prior to release
  • Oversee accurate and timely publication of IR materials to internal and external distribution channels
  • Participate in meetings with investors and sell-side analysts, representing the company with credibility and accuracy
  • Synthesize investor feedback, analyst commentary, and market sentiment, ensuring insights are elevated for management and the Board
  • Guide peer benchmarking, disclosure analysis, and equity research review to assess competitive positioning and evolving investor expectations
  • Oversee investor targeting strategy and quarterly shareholder ownership analysis, focusing on composition, trends, and implications
  • Oversee day-to-day IR operations by setting priorities, improving workstreams, and ensuring accountability across the team
  • Provide direction and escalation support to junior team members, ensuring consistency, quality, and development of team output
  • Manage relationships with vendors and external partners
  • Serve as a cross-functional partner to maintain alignment on messaging, data integrity, and disclosure controls
  • Drive continuous improvement of IR processes, tools, and workflows

Requirements

  • Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related finance experience with a bachelor’s degree, including 3-6 years in a management capacity, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Background in investor relations, investment banking, or equity research
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects, coordinate cross-functional deliverables, and oversee work from junior team members
  • Experience preparing and reviewing executive and external-facing materials
  • Experience engaging with the investment community strongly preferred
  • Experience translating scientific content into investor messaging strongly preferred
