About the role
- Manage COGs and Margin analyses for multiple launch programs while protecting global gross margins in accordance with the published sourcing strategies
- Successfully negotiate product pricing and tooling contracts to achieve cost savings and maintain budget
- Report monthly/yearly tariff reconciliation and cost increase roll-forwards to finance
- Identify and promote sustainable sourcing practices and materials in alignment with company's goals
- Negotiate various vendor and program agreements such as forecast agreements, exclusivity agreements, IP agreements, and R&D agreements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure product availability, production agility and sustainability standards
- Maintain accurate records of supplier performance and cross-functional sentiment to support corrective actions and end-of-year supplier performance scorecards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the cosmetics or personal care industry
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop a team
- In depth knowledge of cosmetic production processes and sustainability practices
- Exceptional written and oral communication with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels
