About the role
- Serve as a liaison between the assigned brand team and corporate resources, agencies, vendors, and the brands
- Assist department head, directors and managers in development of marketing initiatives and collateral
- Serve as assigned brand liaison for brand development and hotel launches
- Coordinate development and production of support tools (Marketing Plans, online postings, emails, podcasts, portal management)
- Coordinate print production, agency and vendor relationships
- Complete and/or manage assigned special projects, establish timetables and status updates
- Research and compile moderately complex data; create spreadsheets or databases and perform analysis
- Prepare departmental reporting and presentation materials using spreadsheet graphics and statistical software
- Manage coordination, upkeep and enhancements to brand experience spaces and prototypes
- Monitor departmental budgets including vendor billing, invoice coding, reconciliation and report discrepancies
- Manage availability and distribution of brand resources and ensure accessible electronic asset library
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- 2 to 5 years progressive work related experience in a corporate marketing environment and/or Hotel Operations
- Demonstrated clear, concise and succinct communication skills (verbal and written)
- Demonstrated ability to communicate program details, present analysis, and negotiate
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the relevant labor market, economic conditions, and industry trends
- Demonstrated ability to implement and track multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated organizational skills and follow-through in tracking ongoing processes
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a consistent, high-quality customer-focused organization
- Demonstrated knowledge of marketing principles
- Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills, using analysis to make program-related decisions
- Experience analyzing Demand360 market data is a plus
