About the role
- Liaising with tax equity investors, cash equity investors, and debt partners for residential solar funds
- Track, compile and help prepare monthly and quarterly reporting deliverables
- Work alongside Structured Finance team to transition post-transaction close ownership of Fund compliance
- Manage Fund legal documents to meet all stated requirements
- Develop annual budgets and track budget-to-actual performance
- Create detailed process flows and identify efficiencies
- Track investment returns and report to syndicated partners
- Provide support during year-end fund audits
- Facilitate onboarding of additional portfolios of solar projects
- Manage regular debt service, financing compliance, and investor communication
- Field questions from investors on financial and operational asset performance
- Complete ad hoc reporting and perform financial analysis for special projects
- Work cross functionally with Solar Operations team to identify performance issues
Requirements
- Working knowledge of finance principles and basics of accounting
- Willingness to learn the complex structuring associated with the Solar industry
- Ability to handle additional workload during annual budget process and fund closings
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with sound business judgment and integrity
