About the role
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for data engineering and AI/ML projects supporting a Navy IT command
- Draft clear and concise user guides, system documentation, design specifications, and operational procedures
- Work closely with data engineers, AI/ML engineers, and project managers to translate complex technical concepts into understandable content
- Facilitate project execution and end-user adoption through clear documentation and guidance
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant experience; or bachelor's degree and 7+ years of relevant experience or Master's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience in technical writing
- Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance
- Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation for data engineering and AI/ML projects
- Experience drafting user guides, system documentation, design specifications, and operational procedures
- Ability to work closely with data engineers, AI/ML engineers, and project managers to translate complex technical concepts
- Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
- Desired: Active DoD Secret Clearance
