About the role
- Manage Investor Compliance and Reporting
- Review all finalized investments and document upcoming reporting requirements
- Monitor upcoming reports due and draft all investor reports for submission by due dates.
- Work to ensure quality of data in external and internal reports in partnership with Financial Analytics and Capital Solutions.
- Work collaboratively across the enterprise to meet objectives efficiently and effectively.
- Implement audit-ready loan-level file systems meeting the requirements of each program.
- Lead annual recertification process.
- Monitor loans to meet Target Market requirements.
- Prepare and submit the Annual Certification Report, ensuring all key IFF parties adhere to the submission deadline.
- Maintain knowledge of all active impact investments and an understanding of the funding deployment requirements for each investment.
- Prepare impact reports and coordinate with other internal teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in business, accounting, finance, community development, or related fields
- Minimum of two years of experience in banking, commercial real estate lending, community development, portfolio management, or nonprofit management.
- Knowledge and experience with compliance with regulatory and/or funder commitments.
- Knowledge of community development principles, real estate finance and development, and affordable housing are preferred
- Good interpersonal and managerial skills; high-level written and oral communication and presentation skills, experience in formal presentations.
- Experience with community development and structured finance programs (such as NMTC), and a network of contacts with nonprofits, government, and lending agencies is a plus.
- Some but infrequent travel across the Midwest; occasional evening and weekend work.
