About the role
- Deliver top-tier technical support to end users across the global network
- Troubleshoot operating systems, networking, printers, VPN, shared folders, and productivity software
- Provide employees and remote Thailand employees with configured endpoint hardware and access to corporate resources
- Collaborate with the corporate IT Team to implement global IT projects
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve critical network and system issues with cross-functional global teams
- Proactively monitor IT infrastructure for performance issues and vulnerabilities
- Implement and maintain security protocols including firewall configurations, access controls, and data encryption
- Maintain documentation, JIRA Service Desk tickets, and hardware/software inventory
- Coordinate with vendors for procurement, support, and maintenance
- Perform routine system maintenance, updates, patches, and backups; monitor daily backups and perform quarterly restorations
- Conduct training sessions for end users and identify opportunities for IT process improvements and automation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is highly desired
- Excellent communication skills, including fluency in written and spoken Thai and English language
- 3+ years of Tier 2 or Tier 3 support or administrative experience
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10+11, MS Server 2019, and above
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (especially Outlook) and Google Workspace
- Command line tools in Windows (cmd.exe, and PowerShell)
- Network configurations (Local switch network ports, WIFI, MS Active Directory)
- Ability to maintain a work log of job tickets and maintenance tasks in JIRA Service Desk
- Ability to balance business operations versus security
- Attentive to detail, honest and dependable
- Excellent analytical skill and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn and take direction
