About the role
- Leading the strategic planning, development, and implementation of clinical systems, including Electronic Data Capture (EDC), Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS), and other technologies supporting clinical trials.
- Overseeing the integration and optimization of clinical systems to ensure seamless data flow, operational efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including clinical operations, data management, and IT, to define system requirements, address operational challenges, and drive continuous improvement.
- Providing strategic direction on system selection, implementation, and maintenance, ensuring alignment with study objectives, data quality standards, and organizational goals.
- Staying abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to drive innovation in clinical systems and enhance trial management and data analysis capabilities.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in a relevant field such as information systems, computer science, or life sciences.
- Extensive experience in managing clinical systems, with a proven track record of overseeing the implementation and optimization of EDC, CTMS, and other clinical technologies.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in strategic planning, project management, and cross-functional collaboration within the clinical research environment.
- Expertise in system integration, data management, and regulatory compliance, with a deep understanding of clinical trial processes and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly, influence decision-making, and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
