Engineering Operations Lead

Mechanical Engineer

• - Be a key founding member of the small team responsible for spacecraft systems lifecycle from design up to in-orbit validation. The team will bring the design into full production, commissioning and operations of the imaging instrument, including all phases along the way - testing, qualification, verification and iterating on necessary steps.
• - Be a technical leader for design and optimization of the satellite platform and oversee manufacturing, testing and qualification campaign. Due to the nature of the project and size of the founding “tiger team”, it’s expected to actively participate in the CAD and other engineering activities.
• - Working with manufacturers of the components and subsystems to ensure the right quality, alignment and performance of delivered components and mechanisms.

• Serve as a primary point of contact for employees globally via our ticketing system or other dedicated tools, addressing a wide range of HR inquiries and issues related to benefits, policies, and employee lifecycle events, providing timely and accurate responses.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS and other relevant systems, ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with global data privacy regulations.
• Identify opportunities to streamline, improve and automate HR processes, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance efficiency, scalability and employee experience whilst remaining compliant with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
