About the role

  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to promote growth and customer satisfaction for Ford.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Ford, building strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Network with IAV’s global team and align actions with corporate growth targets.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within Ford, including cross-selling and upselling initiatives.
  • Prospect for opportunities requiring design, development, engineering, simulation, integration, testing & validation for Powertrain, SDV, and Vehicle Solutions.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities to provide strategic insights and recommendations.
  • Prepare regular reports on account status, including sales forecasts, project updates, and customer feedback.
  • Participate in contract negotiations and close agreements to maximize profits while maintaining IAV's quality standards.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and meetings to maintain a strong presence and network within the automotive sector.
  • Requires domestic and international travel
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years proven work experience as a Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager, Sales Engineer, or relevant role, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of automotive engineering and technology trends, especially those relevant to Ford.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strategic thinker with an analytical mind.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building relationships with professionals at all organizational levels.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and work under pressure.
  • Innovative problem-solver who can generate creative solutions and translate them into actionable plans.
  • Willingness to travel domestic and international as required.
