About the role
- Assist in the execution of marketing with periodic road sign drops
- Assist in the support of league operations
- Assist in supervising part-time staff members and volunteer coaches
- Assist with Nike Kids Camp
- Assist in development of rosters, schedules, and programming for various sports
- Assist in overseeing the daily operation of youth sports leagues, camps, and clinics
- Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills
- Attend City and County Field Users meetings island wide
- Create and maintain field lining for outdoor programs
- Help manage equipment and inventory, uniforms and program supplies
- Address on-site issues professionally including parent concerns or game day challenges
- Recruit, train and support coaches referees and site staff
Requirements
- Excellent communication & organization skills
- Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently & solve problems
- Awareness & ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players
- Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional relationships
- Ability to work a varied work schedule including weekends
- Must have reliable transportation
- Comfortable leading groups and making decisions on the field
- Able to lift and carry sports equipment and work outdoors in various work conditions.
