About the role

  • Responsible for leading the performance optimization for all Hyundai Cars/Entry CUVs and SUVs.
  • Ensure achievement of Business Plan sales, share, and profit objectives.
  • Build and lead teams maintaining comprehensive, real-time knowledge of sales performance, inventory levels, product competitiveness, and marketing effectiveness.
  • Lead monthly Performance Review governance meetings analyzing model performance.
  • Lead all Launch Committee governance meetings to ensure cross-functional alignment for new product launches.
  • Partner closely with various departments to encourage cross-departmental collaboration on upstream planning and downstream problem solving.
  • Analyze performance of assigned vehicle(s) and present actionable recommendations.
  • Provide upstream strategic direction on product specifications and trim/powertrain/drivetrain mix for models in planning stages.
  • Lead development of vehicle positioning strategies.

Requirements

  • Must be a high school graduate.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Fifteen or more years of professional experience at a manufacturer/distributor of consumer products with direct product responsibilities (planning, pricing, marketing, incentives, distribution, and/or sales).
  • Ten or more years of supervisory experience leading direct and cross-functional teams.
  • Automotive industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Cross-functional project management experience required.
  • Extensive data analysis, data visualization, and story-telling expertise required.
  • Self-starter with curiosity and initiative.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience presenting to senior executives.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to simplify complex issues, develop a compelling point of view, and persuasively make case for change leading to action.
  • Exceptional organizational and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Strong automotive industry and technology knowledge preferred.
  • MS office proficiency required.
  • Experience with JD Power, Maritz, GfK, S&P Global Mobility, Strategic Vision, Ace Metrix, Tableau, etc. studies/tools a plus.
