About the role
- Manages teams within revenue cycle operations
- Responsible for motivating staff to achieve the highest levels to meet organizational goals
- Identifies and implements solutions to problems and issues affecting teams
- Participates in the redesign of processes and systems to improve service, data integrity, and staff productivity/quality
- Reviews and tracks trends and makes recommendations for problem and issue resolutions
- Develops and conducts meaningful performance appraisals
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- comprehensive knowledge of revenue cycle functions and systems
- minimum of five (5) years of experience within the area of revenue management
- experience with Account Billing, Follow-up, Charge Integrity, Insurance Verification or other functions related to revenue cycle activities preferred
- supervisory skills that emphasize team building and strong leadership
- proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- effective critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- strong organizational skills
