About the role
- Participate in an immersive summer program providing exposure to Corporate, Specialty & Government Banking or Capital Markets
- Rotate once during the summer between Credit Products and Corporate Banking (for CSG interns)
- Support industry verticals including Aerospace & Defense, Consumer & Retail, Diversified, Industrials, Franchise, Financial Institutions, Institutional Government, Healthcare, or Technology, Media and Telecom
- In Credit Products, support portfolio management and underwriting activities, including credit and market analysis, capitalization, and industry research
- In Corporate Banking, support origination team with new and ongoing client management and pitch strategies
- In Huntington Capital Markets, work on one of five Capital Markets teams supporting development of new business ideas, pitch strategies, and business line execution
- Collaborate with junior and senior team members to help clients achieve financial and strategic objectives
- Summer internship is primary recruiting source for post-graduate CIB Analyst Program
Requirements
- Rising Seniors enrolled in an Undergraduate accredited University
- Focus in Finance, Accounting, Economics or other analytical coursework strongly preferred
- Strong quantitative and critical thinking abilities
- Demonstrated teamwork and leadership through extracurricular activities and/or work experience
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Willingness to work in primary locations: Charlotte, NC or Columbus, OH
