About the role
- Proactively work with Middle Market bankers and leadership to deliver industry-expertise and guidance to locally managed clients in order to develop and deepen relationships with clients and prospective clients.
- Provide industry focused structuring and credit insights to ensure a common approach to credit across our clients in commercial banking.
- Provide industry updates and transaction updates across the Middle Market to help generate new opportunities.
- Coordinate with Corporate Banking and Middle Market product partners to ensure a free flow of ideas across the teams.
- Maintain a pipeline of industry transactions within Middle Market with regular updates to the Corporate Banking Industry Head and Middle Market leadership.
Requirements
- Minimum 7-10 years’ experience as a Relationship Manager on industry-specific teams in Corporate or Commercial Banking
- 7 years or more of successful track record of recommending and cross selling important banking services including Treasury Management, FX, Rates, and other fee-based business to meet client needs and improve bank profitability
- 5 or more years of strong credit and structuring
- Ability to travel to attend client meetings and pitches
- Bachelor's Degree or 5 or more years' experience in commercial banking Middle Market sales role
