About the role
- Drive effective talent strategy and execution for Agency clients’ entertainment and/or sports-focused programs and campaigns
- Participate in cross-functional and client dialogue, brainstorms, and ongoing meetings to devise strategies for talent campaigns
- Assist in talent casting, including researching relevant names, vetting based on brand mandatories, using relevant talent evaluation tools and drafting client-facing talent casting documents
- Support in talent outreach and negotiations on behalf of Agency clients; assignments include drafting talent scope of work/description of services, conducting outreach to talent representatives, drafting, and sending talent Formal Offer and consulting on, managing revisions for, and negotiating Long Form Agreement in conjunction with legal counsel
- Serve as point of contact for talent and talent representation, leading communications around executional elements including, scheduling, campaign materials (creative, social media calendars, run of shows, messaging, etc.), approvals, payment, etc.
- Serve as a representative of the client and Agency on-site at client events, media interviews, service days, etc.
- Help oversee the management and execution (scheduling, approval process, briefing materials, travel/glam coordination, etc.) of all talent services
- Coordinate photo opportunities, including photographer management, prop/product logistics, approvals, and placement tracking
- Manage necessary communication with SAG-AFTRA signatory to fulfil Agency client’s obligation to SAG-AFTRA regulations
- Create and maintain a budget tracker for all OOP expenses, including reconciliation at the conclusion of each campaign
- Collaborate with Media/PR team on media booking and exhibit complication outlining PR services/targets
- Support post-campaign execution, including tracking and reporting on social media metrics and placements for talent partnerships and media integrations
- Develop and maintain critical industry relationships through ongoing networking to drive new talent opportunities and enhance the Agency’s visibility within the entertainment and sports landscape
Requirements
- Eight (8) years or more of experience in talent buying, entertainment partnerships and client servicing
- Previous public relations, brand marketing, advertising agency and/or talent agency experience with a concentration in consumer brands
- Understanding of the entertainment landscape and pop-culture, including celebrities, influencers, athletes, musicians, personalities, experts, tentpole cultural moments and events, etc.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
