About the role

  • Drive effective implementation of multiple client PR programs
  • Manage account teams and programs to deliver high quality results on-time and on-budget
  • Develop and oversee the account teams in writing press materials, client correspondence, traditional and social media strategy and outreach
  • Anticipate issues
  • Delegate and assign work among team members
  • Make recommendations for ways to meet client needs
  • Serve as a representative of the client and agency on-site at client events
  • Manage account financials
  • Regularly monitor to ensure execution is staying on-budget and is profitable
  • Provide analysis to clients of program results
  • Develop strategic, creative ideas and tactical elements for client programs
  • Serve as primary client contact and build/maintain strong relationships with key client personnel
  • Accommodate and anticipate client needs

Requirements

  • B.A. in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications or the like
  • Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience in a public relations agency or similar position; one (1) or more years of supervisory experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
