About the role
- Develop and execute media buying strategies across channels (digital, social, programmatic, TV, radio, OOH, print as needed)
- Negotiate rates, placements, and added value with media vendors to maximize ROI
- Manage campaign set-up, trafficking, pacing, and optimization to ensure delivery and performance
- Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign results, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with internal teams (strategy, creative, analytics, client services) to ensure alignment of media with overall campaign objectives
- Stay up-to-date with media trends, platform updates, and emerging channels in the Canadian market
- Manage budgets and ensure campaigns deliver within scope and timelines
Requirements
- 2–4 years of media buying experience (agency or in-house)
- Hands-on experience with digital buying platforms (Google Ads, Meta, Programmatic DSPs); exposure to traditional buying an asset
- Strong negotiation and vendor relationship management skills
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and campaign management tools
- Knowledge of the Canadian media landscape is required
- Hybrid work: 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home
- Vacation: 3 weeks of annual vacation + agency closure during the holiday season + all statutory holidays doubled + 5 personal days + 1 volunteer day
