About the role
- Lead, supervise, and develop a team of senior level project managers, business system analysts, and product owners
- Manage the project portfolio and coordinate projects, ensuring alignment with Humana’s strategic objectives
- Partner with IT and business stakeholders to facilitate IT budget management and drive IT prioritization
- Support Program Increment (PI) planning and ensure proper intake and prioritization of work in Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT), coordinating with business representatives to ensure effective testing coverage
- Coordinate closely with Department of Health Services (DHS) and attend all required meetings
- Drive operationalization of the annual strategic plan with Market Development and Engagement leadership
- Maintain a two-year roadmap for projects to support long-term planning and transparency
- Ensure compliance with Humana’s governance standards and project management best practices
- Support ongoing integration efforts and foster alignment between business and technology priorities
- Manage “run the business” operations for Humana's Wisconsin Market - iCare and Inclusa
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Information Technology, or related field
- 5 years of progressive project management experience, including PMO leadership, integration, and cross-functional oversight
- Reside within the State of Wisconsin, a state that borders WI, or within Kentucky
- Proven ability to manage complex project portfolios and lead cross-functional teams
- Understanding of budgeting, strategic planning, and project management platforms
- Demonstrated experience with regulatory communications
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills
- Experience supporting Program Increment (PI) planning and using Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Experience overseeing User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Ability to coordinate with Department of Health Services (DHS) and attend required meetings
- Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
- At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required for Home/Hybrid employees
- May be asked to provide Social Security Number as part of application
- Travel: up to 15% primarily within the State of WI
- Typical Workdays/Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm CST
- Preferred: Master’s degree
- Preferred: People management experience
- Preferred: Experience in a managed care, healthcare, or highly regulated environment
- Preferred: Advanced project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP, SAFe)
- Preferred: Familiarity with Humana’s WI Market systems, including intake and prioritization processes
