About the role

  • Lead implementation of key IT projects and develop/execute complex project plans.
  • Plan, coordinate, and facilitate PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, ART Sync, Inspect & Adapt, and other ART events; ensure adherence to SAFe principles.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to manage and prioritize the ART backlog, aligning with strategic objectives and value delivery.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and dependencies across teams and ARTs; escalate impediments and ensure timely resolution.
  • Oversee release management: coordinate planning and execution of releases, manage release schedules, and communicate release status to stakeholders.
  • Analyze metrics and data to identify ART performance improvement opportunities; facilitate retrospectives and implement improvement actions.
  • Provide regular updates/reports on progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders and leadership; facilitate product demos.
  • Build relationships and foster collaboration between teams, stakeholders, and leadership to ensure strategic alignment.
  • Coach and mentor Agile teams and stakeholders in adopting SAFe principles, practices, and mindsets.
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize Agile processes and tools to streamline workflows and enhance collaboration.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (5+ years) as an RTE or Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager in a SAFe environment.
  • Excellent facilitation skills for PI Planning, ART ceremonies, and workshops.
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills to guide teams in Agile practices.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) certification required (SPC 6.0 preferred).
  • Additional SAFe certifications (e.g., RTE, SM) and project/program management (PMP, PgMP, or equivalent) highly desirable.
  • Expertise in Azure DevOps or equivalent for managing SDLC; understanding of Azure pipelines or similar tooling for continuous delivery and deployment.
  • Bilingual: English & Spanish.
  • Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work and currently residing in Mexico.
