About the role

  • Manage the delivery of Stars-related projects within Stars Enterprise Activation, ensuring milestones, timelines, and budgets are met.
  • Serve as a critical liaison between the principal and functional teams, translating strategic priorities into actionable plans.
  • Identify delivery risks early, implement mitigation strategies, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Maintain program dashboards, track KPIs, and provide regular status updates to leadership.
  • Coordinate with enterprise partners including analytics, quality, compliance, legal, IT, and operational teams to embed Stars strategies into workflows.
  • Drive process enhancements to improve efficiency and increase Stars performance outcomes.
  • Identify Stars data opportunities and work across stakeholders to improve data accuracy and compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years in program and/or project management within healthcare or insurance operations
  • Minimum 2 years working with CMS Stars programs
  • Experience with HEDIS data and analysis
  • Prior experience coordinating large-scale, multi‑department initiatives
  • Strong analytical, communication, and relationship building skills
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate ideas effectively in both written and oral forms
  • Excellent Microsoft Office suite skillset; particularly in PPT and Excel
