Prioritize vulnerabilities based on severity, risk level, exposure, and potential impact on the organization’s operations and reputation and facilitate hand off to relevant remediation teams.
Provide vulnerability and/or misconfiguration remediation guidance risk-awareness for common vulnerabilities.
Contribute to the improvement and enhancement of vulnerability reporting.
Escalate significant vulnerabilities that are past due to leadership.
Assess and provide guidance on potential false positives.
Requirements
6+ years of relevant experience
Cybersecurity Vulnerability Management and OS Hardening practices for Windows, Linux, and network equipment.
In-depth understanding of common operating systems such as Windows and Linux, as well one or more common enterprise technology solutions such as Active Directory, VMWare, common web and web application servers, databases, etc.
Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure Cloud assets a significant plus.
Technical Cyber Security Certification through one of the recognized bodies preferred: SANS, ISACA, (ICS)2, etc.
