About the role
- Work on projects directly tied to unique customer solutions based on the standard Dell portfolio of products.
- Work closely with the engineering lead on creating and executing a development plan to meet customer goals.
- Deliver assigned system interfaces with design and process across extended teams.
- Prepare documentation for inspection/testing procedures.
- Design, develop and implement cost effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment.
- Prepare test and diagnostic programs, design test fixtures and equipment and complete specifications and procedures for new products.
Requirements
- 5 - 8 years of experience in validating server components including PCIe cards, CPUs, memory modules and storage devices using structured test methodologies.
- Ability to configure and validate diverse server setups—multi-socket CPU systems, RAID/storage topologies, GPU and accelerator integration, and network configurations
- Experience in full system validation including cluster setups, failover testing, thermal/power profiling, and compliance with standards like PCIe Gen5, UEFI, and IPMI.
- Ability to maintain detailed test plans, logs, and failure analysis reports.
- Experience in validating BIOS/firmware compatibility and system stability
- Experience in developing automated test frameworks and driving process improvements to enhance test coverage, efficiency, and product reliability.
- Bachelor’s Engineering Degree with 5 to 8 years of related experience (desirable)
