Perform accounting functions, including but not limited to month-end close, intercompany accounting, leases, financial reporting, and fixed assets
Manage/prepare taxes; corporate income tax, indirect taxes (sales and use tax), and other taxes/business licenses
Support the Accounts Payable function on month-end tasks related to prepaids, accruals, and vendor management
Prepare and review closing journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations
Support annual audit and liaise with external auditors, ensuring all schedules and documentation are prepared accurately and on time
Aid in compliance with internal controls, and corporate policies
Assists with various accounting functions in problem resolution as needed and special projects

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in consumer/manufacturing industry
BA/BS required
CPA preferred
Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS and internal controls frameworks
Audit or Big4 experience a strong plus
Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
Excellent analytical skills and knowledge of data management tools
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highly collaborative, detail oriented and resourceful
Must be able to work from Corporate Office at least 60% of the time
