About the role

  • Plan and manage the functions of the hotel F&B to achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for short and long term planning and day-to-day operations.
  • Develop and recommend the budget, marketing plans, and objectives.
  • Manage Human Resources to attract, retain and motivate employees.
  • Hire, train, develop, empower, coach, and counsel employees.
  • Conduct performance and salary reviews, resolve problems, and provide open communication.
  • Manage operations of the group ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Resolve customer complaints to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
  • Manage maintenance/sanitation of the hotel and ensure quality service.
  • Assume the responsibilities of the General Manager in his/her absence.

Requirements

  • High School diploma /Secondary qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience with independent hotel and restaurant processes and standards.
  • Advanced knowledge of the hospitality and business management fields.
  • Considerable working knowledge of other major areas.
  • Ability to study, analyze, and interpret complex activities or information.
  • Strong decision-making skills with general policies and procedures for guidance.
  • Highly developed communication skills.
  • Excellent speech and written skills.
  • Excellent literacy skills necessary for reports, policies, and procedures.
  • Vision ability in order to visually inspect hotel.
  • Mobility to walk through the front and the back of the hotel.
  • Passionate about people and service.
  • Strong problem-solving, reasoning, motivating, and training abilities.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and/or holidays.
