About the role

  • At Hot Topic, help bring new and emerging pop-culture brands to life across digital, retail, and social channels.
  • Coordinate the rollout of integrated marketing campaigns for new and emerging brands across digital, retail, and experiential channels.
  • Partner with creative, merchandising, e-commerce, and social teams to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and aligned with brand voice.
  • Attend meetings and liaise with internal/external partners to manage marketing calendars, timelines, and deliverables for assigned brands.
  • Assist in developing creative briefs and campaign toolkits for emerging brands; coordinate asset requests, photo/video shoots, and creative approvals.
  • Support social media content planning and partner with internal/external teams to increase emerging brand awareness.
  • Gather and distribute campaign performance metrics (engagement, sales lift, traffic, ROI, dashboards) to stakeholders and share observations to inform future planning.
  • Serve as primary liaison between the marketing team and merchant partners; support collaboration with external partners, agencies, licensors, and local event vendor coordination; attend on-site for local events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in marketing, brand management, or retail coordination (internships included).
  • Experience with project management with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of digital and social media marketing best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Workfront).
