About the role
- Manage general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
- Process invoices, vendor payments, and customer billings and collections with accuracy and timeliness.
- Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with policy.
- Maintain bank and credit card reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Identify and help implement process and system enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Prepare schedules and documentation for annual financial audits and support audit processes.
- Support special finance initiatives and cross-functional ad hoc projects as needed.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in SaaS or high-growth tech environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CPA-track a plus).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP.
- Experience with accounting software (NetSuite, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar).
- Excel/Google Sheets proficiency.
- Attention to Detail: Accurate, thorough, and organized with a strong sense of accountability.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment where priorities shift.
- Collaboration & Drive: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States (application asks about authorization and sponsorship).
