About the role
- Lead the relationship with key accounts, serving as the main point of contact for the connected industrial business.
- Develop and execute account plans to ensure customer satisfaction and business growth.
- Regularly engage with executive-level stakeholders to address needs and establish trust.
- Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and drive expansion strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, project and after-market support teams, to deliver comprehensive solutions.
- Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to guide sales strategies.
- Understand customer pain points and requirements related to connected industrial solutions.
- Provide expertise on product capabilities and industry applications to align solutions with customer objectives.
- Facilitate workshops and presentations to educate customers on offerings.
- Monitor account performance and key metrics to evaluate success against targets.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management to outline account health, challenges, and growth opportunities.
- Utilize CRM tools to maintain up-to-date customer records and performance data.
- Foster a collaborative environment across sales and technical teams to enhance solution delivery.
- Represent the company at industry conferences and events to strengthen market presence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in key account management or sales within the industrial sector.
- Proven track record of managing complex accounts and driving growth in IT/OT technologies.
- Strong understanding of industrial IoT, automation, and data analytics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with SFDC and Microsoft Office Suite.
