Handle inbound telesales contacts via telephone, chat, and email/webform to convert prospects into Hometree customers.
Support transitioning existing customers from replacement boilers to new or greener options (heat pumps, solar), coordinating with the finance team.
Identify market insights from lost sales or customers switching to competitors and highlight opportunities for product or pricing improvements.
Maintain high standards of quality and compliance within a regulated industry.
Support managing outbound sales initiatives and campaigns during quieter inbound periods to maximise sales.
Report to Sales Team Leader, Operations; attend monthly team meetings in Peterborough and twice-yearly social events in London.
Requirements
Self-Motivated: A confident self-starter with a passion and flair for sales and delivering outstanding customer service.
Strong Communication Skills: Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, with articulate telephone manner and good grammar and spelling to effectively handle chats and emails.
Telesales Experience: Experience in working and performing in a telesales role, preferably within an FCA regulated company, though not essential.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high call volume environment and thrive under pressure.
Adaptability: A quick learner who can evolve their approach and adapt to changing initiatives and products.
Comfortable and quiet home working environment for remote work.
Willingness to travel to Peterborough or Stoke offices for monthly meetings and occasional additional training (no more than once a week).
