About the role

  • Build and maintain relationships with funeral directors, cemetery owners, and preneed managers
  • Promote offering from subsidiaries and partner organizations to enhance their active usage
  • Identify and secure new funeral home accounts through networking and outreach
  • Drive consistent sales growth in new and existing accounts
  • Assist new accounts with licensing, contracting, product training, and marketing support
  • Serve as a key liaison to maintain long-term relationships and customer satisfaction
  • Track and update account data, monitor industry trends, and maintain records
  • Develop quarterly plans of action to maximize account productivity

Requirements

  • A bachelor level degree in business management is preferred or equivalent job experience
  • 6+ years B2B traveling sales experience
  • Funeral industry knowledge is preferred
  • Must possess excellent organizational skills
  • Must be in the Southern Area of California, preferably in the Los Angeles region
  • Must be willing, and be available, to travel extensively by car or air up to 75% of time
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Must meet and maintain the appropriate state-licensing requirement to represent life insurance products in their assigned territory.
