About the role
- Build and maintain relationships with funeral directors, cemetery owners, and preneed managers
- Promote offering from subsidiaries and partner organizations to enhance their active usage
- Identify and secure new funeral home accounts through networking and outreach
- Drive consistent sales growth in new and existing accounts
- Assist new accounts with licensing, contracting, product training, and marketing support
- Serve as a key liaison to maintain long-term relationships and customer satisfaction
- Track and update account data, monitor industry trends, and maintain records
- Develop quarterly plans of action to maximize account productivity
Requirements
- A bachelor level degree in business management is preferred or equivalent job experience
- 6+ years B2B traveling sales experience
- Funeral industry knowledge is preferred
- Must possess excellent organizational skills
- Must be in the Southern Area of California, preferably in the Los Angeles region
- Must be willing, and be available, to travel extensively by car or air up to 75% of time
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license
- Must meet and maintain the appropriate state-licensing requirement to represent life insurance products in their assigned territory.
