About the role

  • Design, develop, and support scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant integrations using Workato and, increasingly, Infor ION.
  • Design reusable integration components, templates, and patterns to improve consistency, scalability, and long-term maintainability across the integration landscape.
  • Leverage pre-built connectors where appropriate while designing and developing custom connectors when required to meet business and technical needs.
  • Lead the creation of APIs, workflows, and orchestration patterns supporting ERP, WMS, e-commerce, CRM, finance, and operational systems.
  • Own the full integration lifecycle, including requirements analysis, mapping, orchestration, error handling, retries, alerting, and performance optimization.
  • Partner with application owners, business SMEs, and vendors to define integration requirements and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Apply modern SDLC and DevOps practices for integration development, including version control, peer review, testing, and controlled deployment of integration workflows and APIs.
  • Maintain and optimize integration monitoring, alerting, and logging frameworks to ensure high availability, performance, and proactive issue detection.
  • Act as a technical escalation point for integration failures, data issues, and platform-level configuration problems.
  • Enforce best practices related to security, authentication, governance, and data integrity across all integrations.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvement of Holley’s integration architecture by evaluating new patterns, tools, and platform capabilities.
  • Produce and maintain clear integration documentation, including design artifacts, configuration details, naming standards, and operational runbooks.
  • Provide technical guidance and best practices to other team members contributing to integration development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in integration engineering, API development, or enterprise application integration roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Workato or similar iPaaS platforms (Boomi, MuleSoft, Snap Logic).
  • Solid background in API design and consumption (REST, SOAP) and data formats (JSON, XML, CSV).
  • Ability to write or maintain custom integration logic using Ruby (Workato SDK), Python (recipe snippets), or JavaScript.
  • Working knowledge of authentication and security protocols (OAuth 2.0, JWT, SAML, API keys).
  • Experience with event-driven, message-based, and asynchronous integration patterns.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex, multi-system integration issues and collaborate with business users to gather, clarify, and validate integration requirements.
