About the role
- Support manufacturing sites worldwide in the production of electrical insulation by guiding improvements to processes, methods and equipment
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase manufacturing throughput, asset utilization and profitability
- Coordinate equipment procurement, upgrades and relocations to ensure alignment with operational and quality standards
- Provide timely expert support to address urgent equipment or process issues
- Develop, update and standardize production documentation, including standards, inspection sheets, manuals and training materials
- Promote digitization and automation of operations within your area of responsibility
- Establish and maintain partnerships with global suppliers in collaboration with category and quality teams
- Promote consistency and harmonization of processes and equipment across global insulation manufacturing operations
- Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.
Requirements
- Proven experience (over 5 years) in the pulp and paper industry, preferably in electrical insulation board production
- Experience in process-related roles, contributing to stable, high-quality manufacturing outcomes
- Proficiency in industrial automation practices and automated process improvement
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, change-oriented approach to process improvement
- Experience working with international teams across different cultures and geographic regions
- Fluent written and spoken English and excellent communication skills
- University degree.
