About the role
- Develop and execute a strategic business plan for your territory.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities with existing and new customers.
- Build strong internal and external networks to generate leads.
- Evaluate and qualify prospects to convert them into opportunities.
- Maintain accurate sales data and forecasts in Salesforce CRM.
- Coordinate with marketing, proposals, and operations teams throughout the sales cycle.
- Lead RFP, RFI, and budget submissions, ensuring customer requirements are met.
- Monitor competitor strategies and position Hitachi Energy to succeed.
Requirements
- University degree in engineering, computer science, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 12 years of professional experience in enterprise software sales.
- Proven track record of growing a customer base and acquiring new accounts.
- Strong knowledge of the electric utilities sector and IT/OT convergence.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
- Experience with CRM tools and cross-divisional collaboration.
