About the role
- Manage and evolve platform infrastructure , including building new solutions and enhancing existing ones;
- Drive continuous improvements across processes, technologies, performance, security, and cloud cost efficiency;
- Promote and implement automation and self-service solutions to reduce manual effort;
- Take ownership of deliverables and incidents, including maintaining relevant documentation;
- Mentor team members and actively share knowledge;
- Act as a technical and behavioural role model within the team;
- Deliver consistently with a high-performance and reliable approach;
- Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders;
- Collaborate closely with development and operations teams.
Requirements
- Experience with technologies such as Splunk, Vault, and Sensu
- Proficiency in programming, specially in Golang, Python or Ruby
- Strong understanding of Platform Engineering principles
- Hands-on experience with production environments using AWS, Kubernetes/Docker, networking, Git, CI tools (e.g. Jenkins), and configuration management (Chef, Ansible)
- Solid knowledge of Linux operations and infrastructure technologies (virtualization, storage, hardware)
