💰 $78,900 - $147,500 per year
About the role
- Manage activities of various IT personnel, including hiring, promotions, and terminations
- Develop talent, address resource management, cultivate capabilities of staff, and manage performance
- Oversee daily IT operations and control expenses within operating unit to meet budget goals
- Coordinate, implement, problem-solve, communicate, and train on new technologies and processes
- Provide subject-matter direction, guidance, training, and technical leadership to staff; assign and review work
- Conduct performance reviews, skills assessments, schedule work and establish priorities
- Oversee departmental budgeting, record hours, and optimize resource utilization
- Participate in project teams, manage and track project details
- Promote continuous improvement and ensure compliance with corporate and industry standards (SOX, SSP, DIACAP, PHPLC, etc.)
- Provide leadership during organizational transitions and perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Science or closely related discipline (Required)
- Relevant experience and/or education may be accepted in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree
- 3 years of experience as a developer (Required)
- Experience with Project Management tools
- Experience with databases
- Experience with multiple coding languages
- Certification such as JAVA Developer, DB2 Certification, Cognos Certification (Required)
- Working knowledge of reporting software
- Proficient end-user personal computing skills and PC skills (files and folders)
- Proficient analytical skills and problem solving abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills to manage employees and interact with senior management, internal clients, and external customers
- Ability to adapt to change, multi-task, meet multiple deadlines, collaborate, lead others, work irregular hours, holidays and weekends
