Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional experience in Mainframe IMS System Programming with similar experience in Transaction manager
  • BMC COPE and IBM tools for IMS and DB2
  • Hands-on experience with IMS/DB2 performance monitoring and automation
  • Establishing policies and procedures pertaining to database management, DR, maintenance and utilization
  • Strong knowledge of IMS/DB2 utilities, backup/recovery processes, and database tuning techniques
  • Expertise in IMS Full Function, HALDB, Fast Path, DB2 for z/OS, and various IMS/DB2 utilities
