About the role
- Directing the activities of licensed and non-licensed personnel who provide health care & nursing services to clients within Hickory Recovery Network.
- Responsible for maintaining operations of the Nursing Service Department to ensure that the highest degree of quality client care is always maintained in accordance with State and Federal Regulations, facility policies & procedures, and client directives.
- TB testing for clients and employees, placing PPD, reading results, completing, and maintaining documentation.
- Scheduling COVID testing, Vaccinations, recording and maintaining Covid documentation for clients and staff.
- Medical Records-assisting in providing requested records as needed, confirming ROI, sending medical record requests to in-house counsel, copying records, and recording and maintaining a request log with date, time, and provider requesting records.
- Maintain and adjust nursing schedule.
- Leading infection control and antibiotic tracking and monitoring, administration of flu vaccines to staff and clients, random handwashing audits, monitoring client isolation/quarantine.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school for professional nurses and licensed in good standing in the state where work will be performed.
- Valid RN license
- At least 2 years prior experience as an RN preferably with hospital and behavioral health experience
- At least one year of supervision experience in the nursing field.
- Certified BLS provider.
- Satisfactory OIG exclusions and background check.
- Satisfactory personal & professional references.
