About the role

  • Reliably performs independent Human Resources studies, analyses, and interpretations to draw sound conclusions and recommendations
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Designs and develops new and improved Human Resources methods and procedures
  • Supports employee and labor relations matters
  • Administers, coordinates, and maintains HR programs
  • Coaches and mentors managers on employment issues

Requirements

  • 4-7 years of previously related work experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field
  • Advanced knowledge of general Human Resources principles
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and HRIS applications (SAP experience/exposure considered an asset)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of relevant employment legislation and standards
  • Strong understanding of core HR program areas, including compensation, recruitment, labor relations, and employee development
