About the role

Work with virtualization technologies (VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V) and VMware Aria for automation, management, design, and configuration
Automate processes and tasks using scripting languages and tools (PowerShell, Java, Python)
Build, design, install and configure servers in datacenter and cloud environments
Work with Microsoft and Linux related technologies and storage technologies (NetApp, INFINIDAT, NFS, VMFS, vVOL)
Provide solutions to complex infrastructure IT-related challenges and perform high-level troubleshooting
Create internal technical guides and document procedures according to team standards
Collaborate within HPE Hybrid Cloud to manage design, development, and product portfolio for Green Lake and help customers reimagine IT needs

5 years of experience as a System Administrator
Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Engineering, or related technical field and/or certified courses
Proven experience and deep knowledge of VMware vSphere end to end - Must
Experience with VMware Aria automation, management, design, and configuration
Working knowledge of virtualization technologies: VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V (latest versions)
Scripting capabilities (PowerShell, Java or python)
Experience with Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure
Experience with storage devices such as NetApp, INFINIDAT using NFS, VMFS, vVOL
Proven experience in Microsoft servers - AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO
Hands-on experience and excellent knowledge with physical server hardware
High-level troubleshooting skills - Must
Excellent interpersonal skills – Must
High-level communication skills
Good to have: Hands-on experience with various Linux distributions (install, manage and troubleshoot)
Good to have: Knowledge in networking
