About the role
- Architect solutions to achieve customer business outcomes across hardware, software, services, and third-party components
- Provide technical expertise to sales teams and customers via presentations, demos, and POCs
- Develop and articulate compelling, accurate, and relevant proposals meeting business and technical requirements
- Translate outcome-based solutions into functional and technical designs scalable for growth
- Quantify business impact and position business value, conduct comparative analyses of alternative approaches
- Track emerging technologies, contribute to industry events, gather competitive intelligence
- Drive account business planning, pipeline building, and participate in sales forecasts
- Collaborate cross-functionally, transfer knowledge to partners, mentor junior team members
- Design, configure, and right-size optimal workload solutions balancing cost, scope, scale, and benefits
Requirements
- First-level university technical degree or equivalent technical qualifications; Advanced degree in technology preferred
- 8–12 years of technical experience in IT with a focus on technical consulting and solution selling
- Knowledge-based and 1+ experience-based relevant industry certifications very strongly preferred
- Advanced experience participating in and leading solution configurations and creation of demos and proofs-of-concept (POC)
- Advanced understanding of company portfolio, aaS models, and ability to prioritize aaS offerings
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English and applicable local languages
- Advanced business and financial acumen including TCO/ROI concepts
- Advanced consultative/value selling skills, whiteboarding, objection handling, and closing
- Hands on experience with one or more products, solutions, tools, or services aligned to job responsibility
- Ability to design and deliver demonstrations or walk throughs
- Advanced project and time management, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated storage expertise: SAN, NAS, object storage, software-defined storage, data protection, backup & recovery, disaster recovery
- Knowledge of NVMe, storage virtualization, container-native storage, AI-driven storage management
- Accountability, Active Listening, Cross-Functional Teamwork, etc.
